Rhiana Henderson is a busy musician and entrepreneur, combining arts management, teaching and performance. She read music at King’s College London graduating with a First Class Honours Degree, and has since gone on to develop a thriving teaching practice in London, be appointed Manager of The Piano Teachers’ Course UK, and most recently co-found the unique floating concert venue, The Piano Boat.

Having grown up in the remote Scottish island of Orkney, she has performed throughout Scotland and London and is no stranger to organising concerts, tours and events. Rhiana also takes great pride in helping teachers reach their career goals through the work of ‘the PTC UK’, the country’s leading professional development organisation for piano teachers. As a keen teacher herself with an interest in business, this led to the conception of ‘the world’s most intimate concert hall’, which has been hugely successful since its opening in July 2021.
